Hi all! It's getting really close to Christmas now! I made this Christmas card for Crafty Ribbons Advent Inspirations! I hope you will have a chance to check it out and join in!
For today's card, I've used A Christmas Song by Crafty Sentiments! I cut out a mat for my image with my cricut cartridge Elegant Edges. The paper is from The First Noel DCWV stack. The stamen are from WOC and the charm and lace are from Hobby Lobby.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Blue: B28, B24, B21
Brown: E18, E15, E13, E11, E29, E39, E35
Black/Gray: 100, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1
Red: R29, R27, R24
Green: G46, G43, G40
Yellow: Y11, Y00, E50, E53
I made a small tutorial for the tree die cut. I first cut them out and stamped music notes on them. Then rubbed vintage photo and peeled paint on my mat. I spritzed with water and ran the trees through. I did it again to make my colors darker. The last pic is of the tattered florals die cut. I did the same process to make the flower except I used a script stamp and barn door distress ink.

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Jackie. And how incredibly sweet of you to share your tutorial to show viewers how to do the technique. That's a great idea that I don't often think about. Sometimes I just kind of assume that people already know how to do something, but it's great to share the ideas. I'm sure people appreciate this (I know I do).
ReplyDeleteTHanks also for sharing in our challenge. It means so much to have you share!
