Children's Valentine Cards

My children joined a swap at scrapinvintage.ning.com! They made their own Valentine cards! I helped them cut out a few things with the cricut and then they stamped and colored their hearts out! Can't wait until we get theirs from the other children who participated!!

I hope everyone is staying warm today. Brrrr.....it's getting cold! My children were so excited to play out in the snow today. Me, not so much. I chose to make this card instead. ;) I used the digi stamp Warm in the Winter by The Paper Shelter. I used my copics to color it and used light blue chalk in the background of the pic. Be My Valentine

Hi my scrappin' friends!! I finished another card this morning! I love Valentine's Day. I used a digi stamp from StitchyBear Digital Stamps and colored her with copics. The dots on her dress were paper pieced. Whew, did that take a while. Those were some small dots! I don't know how I managed to not lose one. :) I broke out the sewing machine for this card. The poor thing has been stored in my closet for a really long time. TIP: If you haven't sewn on your cards before, try it out on a scrap piece of paper first. (I went through several scrap pieces trying the zig zag stitch) I handmade the red flower using pleated ribbon and alcohol ink. The other flowers are from I Am Roses. I used a large post card stamp to make my own mini post card. The sentiment is from Amy R Stamps Heart-y Sayings at All That Scraps. As always, I hope you enjoy this card. Have a Blessed day!

I Love You a Latte

Hi everyone!! I hope you are having a great day today! I'm so excited to have finished my second card! I used copics to color the girl and also did a little paper piecing on her cup of coffee and shirt. The sentiment came from Fresh Brewed Designs. I used Tim Holtz caramel alcohol ink mixed with blending solution to make the coffee cup ring and coffee drips. This stamp is C.C. Designs Latte Kiki La Rue Digi Image.
