It's a Zoo Review - Animal Fun at Color Me Creative

Hi crafty world! Happy Friday! I'm so excited today, because I was invited to be the Guest Designer today at Color Me Creative! The theme is It's an Animal Review! So show us your creations using some cute little zoo animals! We are sponsored by Digital Delights! Wendy gave us some wonderful images to use during this challenge! I am using Monkey Love and the sentiment is from the Jungle Buddies sentiment set. I colored him with my copic markers and made a frame around him with my cricut. I used a mini card to make the tag holder and added a tag. I made a bow using some jungle ribbon and added a shiny red brad in the middle. The flowers are from I Am Roses. I colored them with copics also and tied them with twine. Behind the image I put a strip of flute and to the corner a few rhinestones! I hope you enjoyed my card today! Please stop by CMC and join us in all the Animal fun!

Psalm 33:12

Hi all! Today I am so excited to share with you a card I made as Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday! Today they have a free scripture for you from Psalm 33:12! The image I used is Sniffing Daisies from Stitchy Bear Stamp. I colored this adorable image with copics. The ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam and the rhinestone swirl is from my stash. I love using God's word in my creations! I chose this image because it reminded me of God's blessings. God has given us life, beauty in His creation, and joy in Him! This little girl is enjoying the blessings of the Lord! :) Life can sometimes be overwhelming and make us forget God's blessings. We can become negative and cold. I have been there many, many times. But turning to the Lord, repenting, and reading His word always keeps me going. It reminds me that He loves me and has blessed me abundantly! So I encourage all of you, who may feel like this life is not really a blessing right now, to trust in the Lord. Colossians 3:2 Reminds us to "Set your minds on things above, not on things on the earth." Keep your thoughts on the Lord and His goodness and you will see His blessings! Enjoy your day full of blessings! Jesus loves you! :)

Please join us this week at Word Art Wednesday! We would love to see your encouraging and uplifting creations!

Billy Sailor Boy

Happy Thursday everyone! How's your week been going? Today at Crafty Sentiments we have a special challenge in honor of July 4th! We want to see projects using

Red, White, and Blue

For my project this week, I altered a page from a chipboard album. I used Billy Sailor Boy from Crafty Sentiments Designs. I colored him with my copics. I added some gesso to a sheet of flute and then cut out the clouds and ocean swirls. I painted the swirls, sky, and ship. Then I sanded the ship and added blue star brads and Perfect Pearls Mist. I applied some gesso over the dimensional elements to help them stand out. Then sprayed all over with Perfect Pearls Mist and finished by covering with Mod Podge. The anchor charm is from Hobby Lobby and the Journey tag is Tim Holtz. I haven't altered anything for a really long time, so I hope you like it! :) Thanks for stopping by and please join us this week in our Red, White, and Blue challenge!
